Interaction at Jehangirnagar University.

Interactions were held with Faculty Members and students at Jehangirnagar University on 24th January 2004.

The interaction was comprised of two sessions :
The Inaugural session commenced with songs sung by students of the University. The themes of the songs were focused on peace and harmony. The first was a Patriotic song, the second was a Folk song expressing the anguish of a boatman crossing a turbulent river. The third was a Song of social Protest and about oppression, and imbued with the resolve : we will break the chains of imprisonment and we will bring the 'new sun' to Bangladesh.

The Inaugural session commenced with the presentation of FOUR sets of publications of the Foundation, one each to H.E. Vice Chancellor Prof. Jashim-ud-din Ahmad, to the Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Imamuddin, and to the Registrar, Prof. Mohiuddin Ahmad. The fourth set of books was gifted for the library.
